Vision and Values
We provide a warm and caring environment where high quality play and education are used to stimulate and encourage your child’s social, physical and emotional and intellectual development. We believe that the childhood years are a time for fun and growth but also a time for building the foundations of your child’s enjoyment for learning.
At Small World Nurseries, you can feel secure in the knowledge that we have a team that is committed to caring for your child, and dedicated to your child’s well being.
Our aims are:
- To provide a safe and happy place, where everyone is valued and where individual needs are accepted and met.
- To encourage all parents to be partners with us in the care and education of their children.
- To help all children develop independence, self-discipline, confidence and a high self-esteem.
- To provide an environment, in which children learn effectively, enabling them to progress confidently to the next stage of their school life.
Parents as Partners
There is always information displayed on notice boards throughout the nursery areas. Extra information is given in the form of monthly newsletters and notices.
Play plans are displayed in the children’s base rooms for you to see- this is a nice way to find out what your child has done during their day.
Parents of children under 2 years of age are given written daily diaries as babies needs and routines are individual and detailed.
We do appreciate feedback, and so questionnaires are given out too.
